I am very excited about the Healthy recipes Beth Christopher has posted this month. Please remember to NOT fear your food, especially during times when the family gathers and warmth and laughter are centered around the dining table.
Food is meant to not only nourish the body but deliver a sense of peace, satisfaction, and joy. Natural sugars are not the bad guy and cold-pressed seed oils for baking are not going to make you fat. Modern consumers have been steered away from the pleasure of eating, but these recipes are filled with the natural ingredients of real foods, so enjoy! As long as you eat in smaller portions more often throughout the day, and eat natural ingredients as opposed to fake chemical foods, your body should feel energized (a bit full at holiday times), peaceful, and most appreciative of what it has been given in which to maintain health. Don't fear your food anymore, enjoy its natural sugars, grains, and oils.
ALL the best to you and your loved ones.
The best in health,
Janet Hull
