Aspartame Case History - Crystal Lite and Diet Dew

Comments: It started when my mom bought us Crystal Lite lemonade in 1983. "I believe in Crystal Lite, 'cause I believe in me'" was the jingle on the air all the time. Since then, I would drink about 2-3 quarts per week of Crystal Lite, off and on until just about a few months ago.

My family would only buy diet soda, and thus I only drank diet soda; a few cans a day on average. Between 1999-2001, I had unlimited access to soda fountains at work, and would work 60-80 hour weeks fueled by Diet Coke. It was at that time that I would get spiking-cold, searing sensations in my temple areas.

I tried to temper the amount I drank after that to only a few cans a day.

I noticed my memory was going, but I never suspected aspartame. I felt very sub-conscious speaking in groups. I had been in drama growing up and was comfortable speaking in front of groups before, but now I was afraid I'd forget something, which I did frequently.

In January of this year, I quit cold turkey. I noticed my memory and clarity of thought came back after a few weeks. I felt better than ever. I even started having amazing lucid dreams.

Then, I got a free 24-pack of Diet Dew, which I downed in about two weeks, and I got hooked again. I just recently stopped for good after reading your book.

I'm on the road to recovering my mental acuity and am starting a new business. I'm ridding my cabinets of all aspartame products.
