An Ideal Support For Allergies and Detoxification
By Mirko Albrecht, Dipl.-qualified NC Albrecht71-Albrecht@web.de
Our world has many "Good Healthy Foods" yet to discover, and with a bit of "fantasy", we can prepare delicious meals. It is important for me to elaborate on this theme so more people can become much more interested in eating and preparing "Good Healthy Foods."
Best regards from Germany,
Mirko
Redbush Tea (1 to 1.5 litre/day) is an important foundation in the treatment of allergies and in cases of toxin-induced diseases.
Redbush tea is completely free of caffeine, and is ideal for kids. It contains minerals and trace elements such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, copper, iron, and manganese. Redbush Tea has anti-allergic effects because it contains Quercetin, which is a bioflavonoid and inhibits production of histamine by stabilizing basophils and mast cells. Studies have shown that the average 150 ml cup of Redbush Tea contains about 1.4 mg - 1.7 mg Quercetin.
Histamine is directly responsible for most of the unpleasant symptoms associated with allergies, such as itching and sneezing. I recommend you avoid all histamine-rich foods so the natural histamine levels present in the body will not increase, no matter if an intolerance to histamine is present or not. Diamine oxidase (DAO) is an enzyme involved in the metabolism of histamine. It is a most important enzyme to reduce histamine levels. It is well known that in cases of allergic reactions, histamine levels increase; therefore, a diet of histamine-free foods can relieve depleting this enzyme. If these conditions do exist, the positive qualities of Redbush Tea and supplements can have very good effects.
Redbush Tea is very good for:
- Allergies; general or a specific reaction
- Dietary allergies
- Asthma
- Candidiasis (over production of Candida albicans)
- Dermatological conditions (i.e. eczema, acne - a study at the University of the Orange Free State, by Dr. Charlene Marais, showed the benefits of Redbush Tea and dermatitis)
- Environmental diseases
Redbush Tea increases the activities of the Phase II liver detoxifying enzymes. It contains the enzyme super-oxide-dismutase (SOD), and studies at the Institute for Science of Aging at Al-CHI Medical University, Japan showed that Redbush Tea increased the ratio of reduced Glutathione (GSH) to oxidised Glutathione (GSSG) by 500-600 %.
Redbush Tea promotes the reduction of environmental toxins, and is of great help in cases of toxin-induced diseases.
Drink Redbush Tea and live according to the maxim: "make your food your medicine".
Lemon-Redbush-Smoothie with Papaya
1/2 litre Redbush Tea with natural lemon flavour
Sweetener (Stevia, Sucanat or natural sweetener of choice)
2 pinches Inulin powder (this offers additional support for intestinal flora)
1/2 ripe Papaya fruit (this offers additional support for detoxification and increased metabolism)
3 tsp. yoghurt, natural (or 1 tsp. yoghurt powder with 1/2 tsp. butter milk powder)
Let Redbush Tea cool completely and add other ingredients. Mix all ingredients together as a shake in a Power-Mixer, and drink.
Papaya Ice Cream with Redbush-Milk Mix Base
1 to 2 cups Redbush-milk mix*
1/2 ripe papaya (or more to taste)
5 to 6 pinches Inulin powder
Sweetener (Stevia, Sucanat or natural sweetener of choice)
Extra Redbush-milk mix (a small amount for later)
*Redbush-Milk-Mix: Add 3 cups milk (the best for this recipe are rice milk, oat milk or soya milk) and 2 tsp. Redbush leaves; bring to a boil. Let soak at least 10 minutes. Let the Redbush-milk mix cool down completely.
Cut the papaya in fine dices; lay on a tray and freeze for 5-6 hours. Put frozen papaya, cold Redbush-milk mix, Inulin powder, and natural sweetener into a power mixer and mix altogether (stop and go). Add the small, additional Redbush-milk mix if mixture is too creamy or too thick.
