Happy October!
Every year, October's Healthy Newsletter includes safety tips for the Halloween celebrations in your town. Avoiding all goodies with the artificial sweeteners is our standard warning at The Hullistic Network, but don't despair - we have some great alternatives for both young and old participating in October parties, Trick or Treats, and school and office October functions.
The safety issues surrounding aspartame and Splenda have been gaining interest in the mainstream news arena lately - and about time! - so, this month I have written an article about aspartame and another about its evil twin, neotame. As always, we all need to scrutinize our foods and drinks for the presence of these toxic sweeteners, but it's even harder now than ever before to find them emphasized on your product labels. Hum - that speaks for itself, you think??
The best in health,
Janet Hull
