Study Shows Aspartame Alters The Human Gene

For the "Doubting Thomases" who still don't want to believe aspartame is harmful to human health (and there are many of you out there), here is yet another study from Europe proving aspartame dangers to human health.

The aim of this short-term study was to investigate the biological effects of aspartame consumption by determining the responses of malignant tumor suppressor genes. After one week of administering various doses of aspartame to female rats, gene expression alterations were determined in individual body organs. The research results showed an increase in gene expressions concerning all the investigated genes, especially in organs with a high production rate, such as the lymphoreticular organs, bone marrow and kidneys.

This study comes from the Institute of Public Health and Health Sciences and Institute of Human Nutritional Services and Dietetics, University of Pecs, Hungary, and proves, once again, that aspartame has a negative biological effect on the body at the recommended daily, maximum dose.
