Comments: I just wanted to let you know that your articles are helping me realize what I felt from diet sodas was real.
I work around approx 200 people, many who drink diet sodas out of the machine every day. I used to drink diet pop 25 years ago, but when I tried, again, in recent years to change to aspartame, I would have the following reactions: headache, dizzy feeling, heart racing, racing thoughts. So I would try from time to time to use it....but each time I would get these reactions. Without any support from people around me at work, I got to feeling like it was psychosomatic or something.
As I have become more aware that it really is a problem (through the Internet websites that I've researched), I try to tell people I work with. They still look at me strange, but I don't let up.
