I have recently bought the BionicBand for my mother, and it is working, but can you explain how it works? This seems just too good to be real. After mom suffered her stroke, she has struggled with regaining her balance, above all things. She may never get all the motor skills back on her right side, but after she started wearing the band, her balance immediately restored, and her speech and coordination quickly improved. Her doctors noticed the difference in less than a week, and we had not told them about the band because we thought that they'd think we were crazy. We did tell them about the band after they raved about her rapid improvement and asked us what we were doing!
My mother may never be 100% the way she used to be before her stroke, but by golly, she will never take this band off. She has improved so much since she started wearing it, and that has been a gift for all of us.
I know people think this band is a hoax and talk about the placebo effect, but I wanted to let you know that this has been a wonderful thing for our family.
