Going to bed and getting up in the morning at the same time each day helps you sleep better.
Keeping the bedroom environment comfortable and keeping the room temperature cozy and very dark at night can improve your sleep.
You should avoid spending too much time in bed when you are NOT sleeping. For example, if you plan to sleep 7 hours, don't spend 10 hours in bed.
Drinking alcohol before sleeping helps you go to sleep initially, but several hours later, it wakes you up again.
Exercising daily makes for a better night's sleep.
Sunlight during the day helps you sleep better at night. Bright sunlight exposure, particularly in the late afternoon or early evening, will help improve your sleep.
Taking a warm bath before bed initially raises your body temperature, and when your body cools off, it makes you sleepy.
