A Hullistic Network Healthy Recipe
Spaghetti-Broccoli Au Gratin from Dr. Hull's mom
Ingredients
8 oz pkg spaghetti
6 green onions
2 pkgs frozen broccoli
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
6 turns of freshly ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon summer savory
8 oz yellow cheese slices
3/4 cup light cream
Directions
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain. Chop onions. Cut thawed uncooked broccoli into chunks. Melt butter - add onions, broccoli, salt, pepper, and savory. Cook covered over low heat until tender.
Put spaghetti in greased 2 qt casserole. Cover with half of cheese. Pour in cream; add layer of broccoli and cover with remaining cheese.
Bake 30 minutes at 350 F.
