BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE
1 cup (8 oz) fresh fruit and veggie juice
1 banana
12 almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, or 2 oz sunflower seeds
Make juice first, preferably in a juicer. Then blend nuts dry in blender. Add juice and banana and blend again (this time in the blender)about one or two minutes until smooth. Drink slowly. GREAT for the kids.

CREAMY CINNAMON BANANA OATMEAL
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 banana
1 tbsp raisins, optional
Bring water to boil. Add all ingredients. Cover and simmer for five minutes. Let sit covered for two minutes.
Serves 1 to 2.
