To licensed Certified Nutritionists, students studying to complete the Certified Nutritionist program, and interested students in American Health Science University's CN® program in Texas.
As a review you are probably aware that since the early 1980's the American Dietetic Association (ADA) and its registered dietitians have set goals to get laws passed in all states giving them an exclusive in the dissemination of nutritional information.
They have been successful in some states ranging from licensing laws, to certification laws to title laws all of course to their extreme advantage.
These arrogant laws prevent the public from having choices one way or another when it comes to receiving information and services about nutrition as it relates to health matters.
These laws have made it difficult and in some states impossible for professionals like you to practice your profession and/or run your business.
As much as the ADA has tried for years, no legislation has passed in Texas.
This is in great part due to the efforts of a national organization led by Wynna Henry and the Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) certification community.
Wynna and her group have worked long and hard to put legislation together in Texas designed to allow those with professional certifications like CCN, CN® and CNS to practice with hindrances from the ADA or the laws they try to pass year after year.
HERE'S WHERE YOU COME IN!
She needs as much help from our community as we can give her to convince Texas legislators that the legislation they propose would not allow the ADA to get their terribly unfair laws passed.
Texans in general and you specifically will benefit from the legislation she proposes.
Keith Kline 713 621 9339 a CCN and a licensed CN will be your contact. Wynna Henry's telephone number is 972 392 2355.
Because it is so important to keep Texas out of the hands of the ADA and our respect for the CCN organization we have passed on your email address and telephone numbers to Keith whom I am sure will be getting some updating information to you.
What you do here is important not only for Texas but also for the country.
