What Are Neurotransmitters?

Neurotransmitters carry electro-chemical signals throughout the body. These signals regulate mood, sensations, metabolism, and responses to environmental influences. Virtually every disease and non-traumatic disorder is, to some degree, a neurotransmitter condition.

Testing the levels of the five most important neurotransmitters (Ephinephrine, Norepinephrine, Dopamine, Serotonin and GABA) serves as a reference point for nutritional therapy.
