By now, most of you know that over Christmas 2015, I made a big move. I had a golden opportunity to experience a new environment. Two of my three sons are a big part of my relocation, and at my age, I’m not sure if I could have done it without them.
My oldest son is a partner in the Hullistic Network, LLC, and is my tech guru. I live so remotely now, I can’t access traditional Internet on my ranch, other than using a mobile hotspot. Hence, I’m not able to post as much right now as I used to post, but I’m working on it.
My youngest son is the director of our wildlife preserve, and we are taking the San Benito Wildlife and Nature Center to the next level. We plan to open the sanctuary to the public later this year (if we can get grants and funding that is – ugh).
My middle son is rooted in Dallas running a chain of posh restaurants, and recently became a new daddy, welcoming a set of beautiful new twins into the world. He loves Dallas, and couldn’t be happier.
I have lived in Dallas since 1962 – I was in the 3rd grade when Kennedy was shot merely 20 miles from my elementary school. I first learned to drive on Superhighways, and I witnessed Big D grow from 250,000 people in the 60’s to millions of global transplants who are proud to call themselves Texans today.
After 50+ years of pollution, crowds, parking lots, and rising prices, it was time for me to get out. This was the best decision I have made in decades.
So, how does this affect your health?
Well, now I have more focus on taking my nutritional counseling and diet sweetener expertise to a higher level. Now, I can make more videos, start my youtube channel, Healthy Alternatives, and many other programs that I have wanted to launch for several years.
This week, I will launch my first private membership counseling program.
I have already posted two educational videos for you – one video on detoxing and the other on my cancer prevention diet. I have a new video series completed on healthy pH that I will be posting over the next week or so.
I am really excited about my newest project, which is an up-close-and-personal private membership for my 6-week detox program. I will literally go through the 6-week detox with you. Detoxing can require coaching and support – everyone needs some cheer-leading every now and again.
Stay tuned for my updates.
I have many future projects that I am looking forward to doing, but an on-going focus of mine has always been writing about the diet sweeteners. I will continue to pursue getting another book out on the sweetener industry, but the timing of this project has taken a turn … I am learning that a new piece to this puzzle is important for this book – sugar cane.
Sugar cane is the root (pun intended) to the entire sugar industry, and its roots go really deep. Most people have no clue about the importance of the sugar cane industry, though.
Now, my new ranch and the wildlife center are located across the road from acres upon acres of sugar cane fields. Yesterday, they harvested some of the fields, and I was awestruck at the process.
We’re never too young to learn something new!!
As a diet sweetener expert, learning about the sugar cane industry will add to my expertise. Adding this piece to the puzzle will make me even more knowledgeable about the politics and profits driving this multi-billion dollar sugar industry.
I am excited about the many neat, new projects coming from me to you in the near future. As I sit on my isolated and beautiful ranch and wildlife center, looking at the harvested sugar cane fields across the road, my mind is fertile with new projects to teach you about the crazy things happening in our world today – things that influence us much more than you know!
To your health!
