Back in 2010, I remember listening to an interview with Dr. Masaru Emoto on his thoughts about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and how we could all help. Although his theories have been highly criticized, his work is amazing because he has reminded us that water is life.
Without water, nothing on our planet would exist. We can cherish and protect it, or treat it irresponsibly, and that impacts our health and survival.
Life on Earth would not be possible without water. The contamination of our global water supply is a serious problem today and for many reasons – over-farming and corporate farming, fracking, energy power plants, war, urbanization, and exploitation – issues that societies have been battling since we moved from rural to big cities.
Sadly, humans have not learned from our past, and we continue to pollute both freshwater and salt-water resources. As stewards of the Earth, we must protect the water – fresh water and the oceans.
We can’t build our way out of this predicament.
In his book The Hidden Messages in Water, Dr. Emoto uses high-speed photography to show his discovery that water crystals formed in frozen water change when different sound frequencies, including thoughts, are directed toward them.
He found that water from clear springs and water exposed to positive words and sounds grow brilliant, complex, and colorful snowflake patterns. In contrast, polluted water and water exposed to negative thoughts and sounds form incomplete, asymmetrical and chaotic patterns with dull colors.
In contrast to tap water, natural water displays a beautiful array of crystals, and even more so when the natural water is exposed to beautiful music and positive thoughts. Dr. Emoto discovered fascinating differences formed in the water crystals, and different words, such as “gratitude” or “stupid”, formed different crystal patterns.
Since our planet and all human beings are mostly water, the implications of his research create a sobering awareness that mankind can choose to positively impact the Earth and human health or negatively affect the future.
The publications of these crystal photographs could not have come at a more appropriate time in human history, and may well be a sign of the times to come. Mankind should now be more receptive to these messages hidden in our water because now, we know better our connection to water and our future.
Chief Oren Lyons of the Onondaga American Indian tribe stated in the book Wisdomkeepers, “One of the Natural Laws is that you’ve got to keep things pure. Especially the water. Keeping the water pure is one of the first Laws of Life. If you destroy the water, you destroy life.”
Life Without Water
Besides being essential for our bodies to function, water also promotes life in numerous other ways.
Without it, we can’t grow crops, keep livestock, or wash our food (or our bodies, for that matter). Water has advanced every civilization, provided a means for travel around the globe, and is a source of power for factories and manufacturing.
Because water also exists as a vapor, it can be stored in the atmosphere and be delivered as rain. The Earth’s oceans help regulate the planet’s climate, absorbing heat in the summer and releasing it during the winter.
And of course, these same oceans serve as a home for countless plants and animals.
The Water In You
Some of the Earth’s water supply is temporarily locked up within the many lifeforms found across the Earth’s biosphere. This water makes up a majority of most organisms, and that means YOU.
Water is a critical component, making the processes of life possible. There can be no life without water – pure, clean water.
Make sure to drink plenty of pure and natural water daily, and do all that you can to defend the safety of our planet’s oceans, atmosphere, and drinking water supply.because without it, there wouldn’t be a YOU.
