Summer Skin Care To Stay Young

Drink plenty of pure water during the summer, especially on the very hot summer days.

Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. It is so important to stay hydrated with pure water to keep your skin young. The hot summer sun can dehydrate you faster than you think, and dehydration will age your skinfaster than you think.

Dehydration

Did you know that dehydration can create dark circles under your eyes and make wrinkles “pop out?” The human body is approximately 70% water, so when you stay hydrated, your skin cells stay full and revitalized. If you get dehydrated, your skin begins to show it.

Make sure to drink the purest forms of water available, and avoid flavored waters, diet waters, and bottled waters with additives, such as food colorings, preservatives, corn syrup, or diet sweeteners.

Moisturize

It is crucial to keep your skin moisturized, especially when the summer sun is pulling moisture out of your skin.

For more than 20 years, I have used a product called NIORA to moisturize and hydrate my skin. I live in the Texas country, and during the summer months, it feels like the surface of the sun at my place. I apply an all-natural skin moisturizer on my face and skin at least twice a day during the summer to keep dark circles and wrinkles from forming. I use Niora’s Eye Therapy Replenishment Serum, and will use it forever.

NIORA contains fruit acids, phospholipids, and jojoba that fade wrinkles, and, most importantly, rehydrate the skin while reducing puffiness and discoloration from the sun.

During the hot summer months, I use NIORA’s Eye Therapy and Alpha C Serum at least twice a day.

Feed Your Skin

It is important to feed your skin both from the inside out and from the outside in. I like NIORA skin care products because they have nutrients in them that feed my skin. To prevent damage from the sun, Argan oil has been added, similar to jojoba oil used generously in the Eye Therapy Replenishment Serum. Argan oil is elegant rare oil that goes deep into the skin.

Vitamin C nutrients are added to the NIORA line, too. Vitamin C stimulates collagen production, which prevents wrinkles and sun staining. Ceramides are added to nourish, strengthen and stimulate the skin’s underlying cellular matrix, and this prevents wrinkles.

I also use, and highly recommend, NIORA’s Alpha C Serum. This is a vitamin hit in a skin care bottle, to say the least. It is great for deep facial lines and wrinkles because it is loaded with vitamin C esters, Alpha Lipoic acid, and Alpha Hydroxy fruit acid complexes. It’s good enough to eat!

Protect your skin during the hot summer months so you avoid looking like this …

Between drinking LOTS of bottled Spring water and using NIORA’s skin care line, I enjoy the Texas summer sun – well, when it stays below 100 degrees, that is.
